Minrong Tea Industry · Dajing Tea House Brilliantly Appears at the 5th Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Culture Festival and the 4th Fuzhou Tea Trade Fair

On September 5th, the opening ceremony of the 5th Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Culture Festival and the 4th Fuzhou Tea Trade Fair was held at the Straits International Conference and Exhibition Center. Guo Ningning, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered a speech and announced the opening. Vice Governor Wang Jinfeng gave a welcome speech. Attendees included Chen Qingcang, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC and Executive Vice President of the China International Tea Culture Research Association; Yan Keshi, Vice Chairman of Fujian Provincial CPPCC; Lin Zhongle, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial CPPCC and President of the Cross-Strait Tea Industry Exchange Association; Xie Hua'an, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Long Xi, Second-level Inspector of the Crop Production Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, among others. Chen Mingwang, Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, presided over the event.

Fuzhou has been a world tea port since ancient times. During General Secretary Xi Jinping's tenure in Fuzhou, Fujian, he attached great importance to the inheritance of tea culture and the development of the tea industry. In 2021, during his inspection in Fujian, he proposed the integrated development concept of "Three Teas," providing us with important guidance for promoting high-quality development of the tea industry.

We remember the instructions, are grateful and strive forward, adhering to promoting tea culture as the lead, strengthening the tea industry as the focus, and enhancing tea technology as support. We continuously promote the "Fucha" brand and keep polishing the golden "Double World Heritage" card of Fuzhou Jasmine Tea.

We hope everyone will take this event as an opportunity to discuss the integrated development of the "Three Teas," deepen exchanges and cooperation, work with us to improve tea quality, extend the tea industry chain, expand the tea industry, and strengthen the tea brand, further exploring domestic and international markets, and jointly promote Chinese tea to be enjoyed worldwide.

Before the opening ceremony, Guo Ningning, Wang Jinfeng, Chen Qingcang, Yan Keshi, Lin Zhongle, and other guests visited the "Millennium Scenting, Jasmine Fragrance" 2025 Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Culture Theme Exhibition Area and other exhibition areas. Wang Dexing, Chairman of Minrong Tea Industry and a national intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Fuzhou Jasmine Tea scenting craftsmanship, introduced Fuzhou Jasmine Tea to the visiting leaders and guests and demonstrated the scenting process.

At the event, the "Fuzhou Jasmine Tea White Paper (2025)" and the Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Cultural Boutique Tourism Routes were released, and key agricultural industry projects were signed. Among them, Minrong Tea Industry signed a project for the Minqing Jasmine Tea refined processing production base with the People's Government of Minqing County and also signed a tea purchasing project with Wangjiayuan Baotang Tea Industry Co., Ltd.

At the opening ceremony, intangible cultural heritage inheritors appeared in the interactive session. Wang Dexing, Chairman of Minrong Tea Industry and national intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Fuzhou Jasmine Tea scenting craftsmanship, along with Wang Wenli, national inheritor of Tieguanyin making skills, and Lin Zhenchuan, national inheritor of Fuding white tea making skills, took the stage to share century-old techniques.

This event, themed "Chinese Tea · Enjoyed Worldwide," attracted 27 government exhibition groups and over 700 enterprises, comprehensively showcasing achievements in tea culture inheritance, tea industry development, and tea technology innovation.

The exhibition hall was filled with the rich aroma of tea and jasmine flowers. At booth T4010 in Hall 4, Minrong Tea Industry, a key national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, showcased its century-old Fujian time-honored brand "Dajing" series products alongside several leading Fuzhou Jasmine Tea enterprises.

In an interview with Fuzhou Radio and Television Station, Wang Dexing, Chairman of Minrong Tea Industry and national intangible cultural heritage inheritor, said: "Our product is refreshing and sweet, like rock sugar sweetness, the taste of spring. Participating in this exhibition helps enhance the reputation of Fuzhou Jasmine Tea and the city of Fuzhou." Minrong Tea Industry's Dajing Tea House attracted many leaders, guests, and tea enthusiasts with its unique "rock sugar sweetness," winning unanimous praise on site.

Wang Dexing, Chairman of Minrong Tea Industry and national intangible cultural heritage inheritor, along with our city's municipal intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors Yan Jinhua and Chen Weiwei, and district-level intangible cultural heritage representative inheritor Luo Guolin, participated in the premiere of the immersive stage play "Millennium Jasmine Fragrance" in the event area. The play centers on Fuzhou Jasmine Tea, linking historical inheritance with modern development. The inheritors also demonstrated the Fuzhou Jasmine Tea scenting process on site, perfectly blending floral fragrance and tea charm to showcase the essence of tea culture.

The play concluded with the successful inscription of Jasmine Tea as a World Heritage, highlighting its important significance as a cultural bridge connecting tradition and future, local and global.
